Should You Refer Your Patient for an Evaluation?

A patient suffering from a sleep or neurological disorder may experience:

• Confusion
• Hyperactivity/ADHD
• Snoring
• Mood swings
• Chronic fatigue
• Sleep walking/talking
• Insomnia
• Bedwetting
• Lack of concentration
• Memory dysfunction
• Head banging
• Grinding teeth
• Frightening dreams
• Body rocking
• Irritability

If your pediatric patient exhibits one or more of these symptoms, he or she may be a candidate for a sleep or neurological evaluation.

Insurance

Many insurance carriers offer benefits for sleep and neurological evaluations. Once you have determined your patient's need for an evaluation, have the patient or guardian fax or send us the referral.

Pediatric Sleep Institute handles the rest. We will contact the insurance carrier to verify benefits, initiate and follow the appropriate authorizations. We will work with your office to coordinate billing information.

We offer options for in- and out-of-network plans. We also offer options for self-paying patients. Our financial department is always available to answer billing and payment questions.
