Many carriers offer benefits for sleep evaluations. Upon receipt of the evaluation request from your child's physician, Pediatric Sleep Institute will contact your insurance company to verify benefits, initiate and follow the appropriate authorizations, and work with your physician's staff to coordinate billing information. Your physician will need your most current address, phone, and insurance information to provide to us.
As a member of your insurance plan, you may also call the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card and ask what your benefits are for a sleep evaluation. Your insurance plan may or may not require calendar year deductibles, and possibly a coinsurance percentage of the allowed amount. This "allowed amount" is determined once your evaluation request has been received and the appropriate tests are determined.
Pediatric Sleep Institute offers options for in- and out-of-network plans as well as options for self-paying patients.
