Sleep studies (polysomnograms) are performed overnight on most nights of the week. Daytime sleep studies or Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs) may also be required and are scheduled during the day.
Overnight studies typically begin at 7 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. the next morning. The patient's normal sleep routine will be considered during scheduling.
Neurological evaluations (electroencephalograms or EEGs) take between 1-2 hours and are scheduled throughout the day.
